The ingredients were super simple and not expensive at all. One carton of strawberries is all you need (usually they are 12 to 16 oz for $1, this time of year). Other ingredients included coconut oil, maple syrup, almond meal, gluten free syrup. Check out her recipe for the cake. I did make my own recipe for the frosting & it was super simple:


This is after 2 days in the fridge. The flowers are still pretty! I just stuck the stems in the frosting, and I guess that’s all they needed… was a little sugar!
Frosting
The coconut frosting was very easy to make…. 2 small cans of coconut heavy cream with the liquid drained off (after sitting in freezer for about an hour), + 2 packages of stevia (monk fruit). Mixed with hand blender for about 2 minutes. Chilled again in fridge for a bit and then frosted the cake when it is completely cooled.

Decorate with flowers… these edible flowers from my front yard included: carnations, violets, roses & rosemary 🌺
