the great toilet paper challenge of 2019 continues!
The current challenger is Who Gives A Crap toilet paper. WGC is a sustainable TP delivery service, here. Check out day one, WGC post, here!
Our goal is to spend $5 per week on toilet paper for a household averaging around 4 to 5 people at home on any given day.
We are now on day 21 of the challenge.

reloaded and ready…
10 of the initial 48 rolls are now gone, history, buh-bye.
at $1/roll that is 48 cents per day or $3.36 per week.
That means WGC is well within our $5/week goal for TP.
(You’ve got to have goals, right?)
I’m so excited!
At this rate, the family is using 3.5 rolls per week.
This is for at least 4 full time bums
and
several transient bums…
that is to say… that we have family members that are here all day, every day…
and other family members that have work, school, errands to run, etc.,
and aren’t home for every event.
The big question, the elephant in the room… is… of course… the comfort factor.
WGC isn’t the most comfy tissue ever,
however,
it isn’t horrible.
it saves trees.
it helps build toilets in 3rd worlds.
it has no dyes or fragrances.
it is wrapped beautifully.
So, am I a WGC fan?
so far… YES, I am.
